No one ever said that life would be simplistic... Of course, you always hope it will be and that you can do anything and everything without trying. I am one of those people that prays for guidance, pleading for Him to show me the way. Truthfully, I am not a woman of God... Though I believe he exists and that He has a will and plan for me. But I have to figure out His plan myself...
As a child, I always remember saying, never will I have a child... Never will I get married. One half of that had been proved wrong, since I am now the mother of a beautiful daughter named Morgan. She was born February 23rd at 11:25 am. My daughter has become my life, and I fear... That my husband-to-be is not getting the love he deserves. Or that we can do this.
Of course I know it will have its trials and such... Since we all ready have when it comes to Morgan, but together... I could, and might, worry myself into a fit.
Surprise?
That said... I love both Morgan and Chris, and would not change my life. But for a million dollars I suppose.
Happy Reading, and Good Health Everyone.

The Bane of Loyalty
Prologue
[WARNING: NUDITY]
[WARNING: NUDITY]
I was once a mortal man- a knight that lived to protect the Queen. She came to me one night, her gown fluttering about her body. When she stepped into my room, I could only notice out beautiful she looked. Her skin glowed pale in the dark, her hair hanging loose about her shoulders and back. I began to rise, parting my lips to speak to the unearthly angel that was my Queen. She placed a finger across my lips, silencing any words I had thought to question her with.
When I was silenced, she lifted her hands to her shoulders, slipping the loose fabric off her body to the floor. She bared herself to me, and the body underneath was that of my wildest dreams. Her smile was alluring, drawing my eyes to hers as she stood at the edge of my bed. Words failed me as I reached for her, drawing her into my arms and down to lay against the pillows. I ran a tentative hand over her creamy skin, cupping her shoulder in my palm.
When she arched into the touch, a pleading noise emerging from her lips, I skimmed my hand across her collar bone and down to her breasts. The globe of flesh was cool in my palm, and I felt the hard nub rubbing against my flesh. I teased her for what seemed like hours until I rose about her, claiming the gift she offered me. My body was trapped within her, her skin and the taste of her flesh a drug to me. She kissed my throat- murmuring the things she would, and could, offer me. As I cried out her name with my last thrust, a sharp pain struck me, her mouth latched onto my neck. The pain washed away into pleasure and I knew no more.
I woke later and found my Queen was still stretched out by my side, her body glowing with moonlight. Her dark hair was spread across my pillows as she lay watching me. Fear struck me at my actions, and I watched her warily “What have we done?” I asked her, worry striking my heart at the calmness in her eyes. She laughed, placing her long fingered hand upon my chest.
“I have you what you wanted. You shall stay by my side for eternity. You shall not age- and nor shall I. A King you are now- and mine.” She said this, and with each word I came to know horror. For the love of a beautiful woman had become my bane and with it the loss of my soul.
I am Kristoph- King of the Vampire Clan.
